About Great Streets Great Business

The Entrepreneur Center is proud to take part in Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Great Streets Initiative to provide assistance to small businesses across 15 Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley corridors. Powered by VEDC and the City of Los Angeles’s Economic and Workforce Development Department, the Great Streets Great Business program supports entrepreneurs with retail space, lease negotiation services, and access to capital.

Through the Great Streets Great Business program, entrepreneurs receive:

Business Retention

  • Free workshops & consulting
  • Debt financing options

Access to Capital

Loans from $1,000 up to $250,000 to be used for:

  • Working capital
  • Real estate acquisition
  • Building improvements
  • Leasehold improvements
  • Construction
  • Machinery and equipment purchases

Business Recruitment

  • Assisting in site selection
  • Assisting in lease negotiation
